Most truck companies in Canada require the following from you, in order for you to attend an interview:
* English Class One Driving Licence (two years experience).
* A criminal record check (preferably without convictions).
* Three work references.
* A DVLA D4 medical.
* A driving assessment from a registered truck driving school.
* A drivers abstract from the DLVA.
* Drug test.
If any other members of your immediate family (over 18) will be accompanying you to Canada they will need:
* Medical completed by their GP .
* A criminal record check.
Meeting these requirements are not just for the company you will be working for, but for Canadian immigration when you apply for your landed status.
